Interesting post PBH. So did you pass this info on to the DWR and if you did, what did they say and was there any other reports of shiners being caught.
Maybe now they'll take the bait fishing problem at Kolob a little more seriously.
What, fish tube jigs at Newcastle, not me. I only only use freshly bought PB and garden hackle. If you can get past the shiners you'll get a smallie. But seriously, I use anything the shiners can't eat and most of the fish are hooked on reaction strikes. If you haven't noticed the feeding time is about 30 minutes morning and night.
