Looking for info on jig type that has hook directly connected to jig body without any split ring etc.
Saw it being used on Dan Hernandez fishing show for barracuda. Jig appeared fairly heavy and was casted out and moderate crank retreive was successful for cuda.
Fisherman was able to grab a hold of jig, turn it upside down and the cuda would fall off the jig hook with only a little shake of the jig.
I don't know what type of jig it was or where to find them. Sort of resembles the old "iron slab" jig of years gone by.
Any help on name of jig, where to locate etc. would be VERY helpful as I am coming up dry in my searching. Thanks,Brad.
