I have used them with success! They are excellent for bass. I haven't had as much success with trout. The hook is at the head of the lure and bass seem to gobble up the entire lure. Trout, on the other hand, often bite only the end of the lure. I still use them from time to time. I like them, but they are not always my first pick for a fishing lure.
