Your dissertation is pretty much on target as I found out. When you're in trouble you try anything. LOL What I was hoping was that the car battery still had enough umph. (amps) that I could supplement to crank. It allmost did. I could hear it start to crank but would never turn over. I was hoping that if I left the sonar battery on and the car battery self chaging would do it in time. Not so. One good thing was that I could charge my cell phone which was important!
