Jordelle and Deer Creek
#6
I have tried a number of colors, including daquiri, smoke, smoke with black flake, green pumpkin, pumpkin, green with red and gold flake, black with blue and gold flake, white, blue pearl, etc. etc. I have yet to try a color that won't catch fish on DC or Jordanelle. The key to the bate is the action more than the color. Useful sizes include the 3", 4",5", 6", and 7". Rig the 4" and 5" with 3/0 wide gap gamakatsu texposed, the 6" and 7" with a 5/0 wide gap gamakatsu texposed. Use the 3" for dropshotting, and when I wacky rig, I usually use a size 1 or 2 strait shanked worm hook, lite wire, or a Yamamoto crooked hook (53 series). The darker colors seem to be great in low light conditions, or for deeper presentations. You can't go wrong with a senko. Nails
