All Star Fishing Charters weekly fishing report

Area 9

Lingcod fishing is just about over. Lingcod remains open till the 15th of June. Last weeks strong tides made it hard to stay on the location, but we still managed to get limits. This weekends tides are better and there are still plenty of lingcod out there.

The best catches are still coming on the live bait.

Crabbing opened with limited catches, best area was browns bay along the shore in about 60 feet of water.

Crabbing in area 9 is open 7 days per week.

Salmon fishing in area 9 opens July 16

Area 8.2

Crabbing in area 8.2 was good this past weekend.

Although some people reported limited success there were good catches by others.

Lots of great crabbing in 8.2, the jetty just out of the Snohomish river mouth is probably the most popular and certainly very productive.

Other good spots include the shoreline from Everett to Mukilteo.

The south and north ends of Hat Island.

Only one more week till the Tulalip Special fishery opens on June 18 for salmon.

This will be 2 weekends earlier than last year. The hatchery in tulalip bay has been putting in early returning Chinook for the past few years and this run is expected to be a good one.

Area 8.1

Open for lingcod

Crabbing opens Friday June 4

North end of Camano Island is excellent.

Closed to salmon fishing, Reopens on August 1

Area 10

Opens for crabbing June 1

Closed to salmon fishing, reopens on June 16 for a catch and release fishery and then opens for catch and keep on July 1
