Strawberry all weekend
#1
Fished the berry with my friends folks this weekend. Wind was in effect as was snow and rain on Friday and Saturday. Good fishing on mono pulling cranks with no weight. Person that gave me the Rapala suggestions were right on with a countdown, didn't try a taildancer. Next time I'll have to. I also caught fish on a YoZuri rainbow trout pattern crank. Its called an L minnow. All the fish were slot cutts and under with Kim's mother catching a big kokanee at the mouth of Soldier Creek. We didn't troll very fast, partly because of the wind but there were a few times mid morning where we couldn't keep the fish off. Fish were in about 20-30 feet of water and I didn't get temps before anyone asks. Sorry. I fished Diamond Fork too and caught a couple fish before I headed home. thanks to everyone that suggested lures and tactics.....some of the lures that I got didn't work but I'm sure it was me and the methods we used that kept them from getting the fish. Thanks to all, because of you and this site, I had a great time.
