[cool]I believe that about the dead chickens in a gunny sack. My stepdad said that when he was a kid in New Mexico, he'd go catfishin' with his grandparents and if they found a dead bird or especially a dead jackrabbit on the road, they'd stop and scoop it up, and throw it in the back of the truck and use it or it's guts for bait, and catch some really nice cats, but I've never tried it myself.
