jigs, there is a number of methods that will produce for you on a regular basis.

there is always the sure fire live bait method. tipping off a jig and dangling it off the end of a boat or dock or down through a hole in the ice. minnow or worm leach cricket shimp or a crawdad. slow drifting with a jig will produce well.

if you like the artificial, soft plastics work well. tip your jig with a curly tail or worm or even favorite grub.

rember this simple rule, an active jig is a happy jig. sound corny but the truth is that you want to keep your jig moving. slowly, up, down, side to side. making your jig dance will entice your fish.

on this one I strongly sugest you rent a vidio, nothing can explain the twiching and dancing action that can be acheived.

praticing in your bath tub full of water will not only give you an excuse to take your fishing rod insted of the rubber ducky. it will allow you to veiw the action. submerging items in the tub will give you obsticals to dance around.
