JollyRogerTcbo1,
I have spent countless hours on the saltwater piers. I have looked at and studyed many differant tagalong gear ( contraptions ) for a lack of better words. I saw the red wagon the most often. Some had sideboards to carry more gear than an angler could use in a month of nonstop fishing and others only had the esentials for the day. I saw one that I liked the most. It was not a wagon but a two wheeled cart. I'm not shure where to find them other than from someone that has one. If you have seen the carts used by the elderly on a shopping trip downtown, you know what cart I am talking about. It folds up for easy storage. The one I saw held all the esentials for a full day of fishing. On each side some 1 1/2"X6-8" pcv pipe was mounted with hose clamps. They wher mounted at an angle pointing away from the handle and alowed poles to stand strait up when pulling the cart. The pipes had notches cut in them that alowed the base of the reels to fit in to and kept the poles stable during travel.
They are alot lighter than the red wagon but still hold all the needed gear. It also had two hooks on the front that held a folding chair. I hope this will help you out.[
