I'm sorry you didn't catch anything, but that's not what fishing's all about. I read back through your previous posts and noticed that you're primarily after bass. Utah has some pretty decent bass waters, but it's still a little early to get fast action on them, unless you're an expert, which I'm not. I caught a couple of largemouths at a local pond(clearfield) a little while back, but it was luck. The smaller impoundments will probably be better right now, since they warm up quicker.
Next month should really see the warmwater fish turn on. Crappie, bluegill bass, catfish (my fave). If you want a treat, talk someone into teaching you to catch wipers. I've only caught a few small ones, but they fought really hard for their size. I can't imagine catching a big one.
