1st off, I now keep my hooks in a sealed box (one with an 'O' ring around the lid. This helps quite a bit. I always rinse and air dry with fresh water AT Home. Something I've never tried but seen is to put some Baking Powder or Rice in the trays where lures and hooks are kept, both tend to absorb any moisture in the box, keeping the hooks relatively rust free.<br>Neither of these materials will hurt the lures (at least hard hooks and hard baits, not sure about the softbaits)<br>Thor<br><br>
