Going nocturnal

[font "Times New Roman"][size 3]I was thinking with my current work schedule I might be forced to try some night fishing for bass and walleye. I’ve only tried it a few times before and to tell the truth, I was not very successful and it proved to be more of a PITA than it was worth. What am I missing? The most frustrating was trying to see what I was doing, especially when it came time to tie knots. I have a decent lantern but it attracts a lot of bugs and seemed to cast shadows right where I need the light, I never could tell where my line was at and snags were enough to make a preacher swear. What gear do you all use? Headlamps? Lights? Lanterns? Glow in the dark floats? How about some of you night owls give me some night fishing tips. [/size][/font]
