Catching Crawfish

Anyone ever toss a trap in the jordan? I toss mine in the canal near my house and get a few dads, as well as perch sometimes. Maybe I'll head down to the jordan in the next few days and toss in. The only problem is that a cow stepped on my trap a few years back, we had it sitting near the bank in my local canal and the cow wandered down for a drink and stepped on it. I gotta straiten it out now. I havent had dads in a long time, I can see em' turning red in a pot of boiling water right now, pop that bugger out, twist off the tail, and dip in butter. MMMMMM...
