Heavy fishing pressure tips

[Image: fishn-header-6.gif]If you get to your favorite spot and every boat on the lake is fishing it, try some of these tips to improve your odds of having a great outing. [ul] [li] Try the upper end of the lake where it turns into a river, specially if there is current. This water will have more oxygen and fish may be more active in this location. [li] Look at a map and find the areas farthest from the launch ramps and heavily fished areas on the lake. [li] You may catch more fish from an area only considered fair if you are the only one fishing it. Fish tend to spook if there is too much pressure. Better to catch a few fish than to get skunked. [li] If every one on your lake throws a worm, try a jerk bait or spinnerbait. Be different its the spice of life. Fish get boared just like we do. [li] Find an area where obstructions like stumps keep pleasure craft and jet skis out. [li] Go early to your best spot before the pleasure craft come out. Then go somehere else. [li] When you do get into fish keep your mouth shut. Nothing worse than discovering a new spot, then yelling "Oh my god its a world record, come her Jeb and look at the size of this one". as it echos across the lake. [/li][/ul]
