I was there last year with a few friends about this time of year. We did extremely well fishing for trout. Where I'd fish at would be right as you enter Locomotive springs there is a relatively deep hole. Fish this hole on the south east end and work your way around that deep pool. There are several spots to camp but right there on the south east end there is a big tree and some flat ground. I'd camp there. Mainly because that is the only tree around. We used pink powerbait and white and red combo turbobait. The rainbow powerbait worked ok too, and oh ya blue and orange turbobait. in the evening and morning around 6:30 to 7:30 or as the sun goes down throw some spinners. We nailed about 23 to 30 trout. There was a scout group across from us and they were also doing well. Hope this helps.
