It is a freshwater power plant lake just south east of San Antonio. The fish have adapted to the freshwater. I hear they found out they could do this because they were found in some freshwater areas near the coast. But I think they need warmer year round temps and some salinity to realy thrive. I understand they act different in fresh water. They stay in deeper water on structure where in salt they prefere the shallow grass flats. I saw some reds swimming with largemauth bass in an aquarium in Bass Pro Shops.
