They will shut off most secondary water use here in N Utah by the 15th of this month, they started shutting it off on the 1st of Oct. so the water levels should remain pretty stable for the rest of the year. Another great smally, your buddy caught. Was he fishing near the bottom?
No.  He threw it up against big shoreline boulders that had buddy boulders submerged --- NE corner, below road, couple of hundred yards from dam, and shoreline straight across (W) from ramp.
