Rockport Perch

Hi all,
I was just wondering how the perch catching is going at Rockport reservoir from a kayak or boat. 
A couple years ago in September I had a blast catching lots of good size perch vertical jigging from a kayak. 
From what I’ve read they seem to be smaller this year.

That is what we are reading as well, most anglers are not having a problem catching them but you must weed through a bunch of smaller ones to get a bigger perch.
