Yes sir....been over here for a couple years now.   Hope you and Mrs T are doing well.  I may hit you up for some heavier jigs if you're still making them.  1/4 oz maybe? Purple, black,  and copper Pats are fish favorites in the green over here.  Cutts especially love the purple but the river is chuck full of 2-4 inch crawdads so the copper is a killer too.  

Just saw the advisory for the algae bloom so it appears Paige and I might miss out on catfishing this summer..  Bummer.

Glad to hear you are plunked down in prime piscatorial country.  Those are some purty fish.  The bou jigs have been favorites for quite a few guys over the years on the Green and other flows.  And you are right.  When the water is deeper and the flow heavier you need more weight.  A mix of 1/8 and 1/4 is good.  And change up when you come to faster or slower runs. 

Hope you and your gal are able to hit "golden pond" again...and that the kitties give you a nice welcome.

Sorry.  The tackletorium is closed down.   TubeBabe passed the middle of December and old age has jerked me out of my tube and off the water.  Sold or donated all my stuff.  Now living with my daughter.  But I got a couple of hot girls to sit on my lap and keep me company...a black one and a redhead.
