These are wonder bread jigs.

We use jigs just like these, to catch pan fish, we just add a piece of meat like chub meat or even perch meat and catch perch like theses.




But some folks even use them to catch walleye with no plastic, just cut bait. Just because you haven't tried them like that, doesn't mean it won't work, just another thing we learn from each other, by trying things different.
