Buddy and I took my boat trolling for the 'Bows at Echo, late start about 0800..maybe should have started an hour earlier..but hey..sometimes OG's need an extra hour sleep..best bite right away, 'til about 0930..then, 'til 1130, quitting time, the bite was very sporadic, but still worth being there...surface temp 60* to start, and 64* at 1130...as air temps rose, it would have been nice to dive in to cool off, but better judgement prevailed..good quality limits kept, mine 18+, 16, 16, 14...1 at 12" released on purpose, 4 others hooked good enough to get close to the net but decided they didn't want to join us...pink/silver sparkle hoochie very good, as well as chartreuse.(Terry's Turbo)..We used planers w/2.5oz wgt to get us down about 18 to 20'...Down riggers caught fish anywhere 19 to 27', depending on where we were at the time...winds calm 'til about 1030, and overall very pleasant A.M. at Echo..all lures tipped with small pc nite crawler..Guluk..
