Yup with worm harnesses but we cut the leader down to 18-24” put them back 100+’ and hall butt, this time of year the fish are aggressive no need to actually be on the bottom at Willard just cover lots of ground. I fish bottom bouncers off each side and the corners and cranks out on planer boards together. From mid May through June the fishing is fast and furious at Willard just keep moving and turning and you should get into them.
I spent quite a bit of time trying to snag my rod today, but no luck.
I did end up netting seven Walleye, I kept six and let the little guy swim away.
Four of the ones I kept are those 15-16” fish, one 20” and one 21” so I can’t complain.
All very thick but empty bellies, except the mud worms.
Caught maybe 10 or 11 Smallies, strangely not a single Cat.
All fish on bb’ers with chart/orange blade.
Smallies on Ned’s of course.
No Perch.
