From the Utah DMV website:
"While canoes powered with motors over 25 HP must be registered, no canoe, regardless of model year, can be titled. However, if the motor used on a canoe is over 25 HP and is a model year 1985 or newer, the motor must be titled. All sailboards are exempt from titling."
While a left handed way of stating it, this seems to be saying that canoes with motors less than 25 HP "Do Not" need to be registered.
Hope someone can find a more definite statement from the DMV. Whoever writes their requirements should go back for remedial English.
I don't know why all the extra notations are included in my post. I did'nt do it.
