Great catch, Yes, a Northern Pike, Esox family, like the Tiger Musky but not Hybrid so it can populate. Unfortunately they are invasive to Ut lake and we don't think they will do good things to the lake.
Yes, they are not bad to eat. My mom steamed them first to make the bones easy to take out, then made fish cakes with them.
