Going To Willard with Grandson. Help?

It's been a while for sure. I haven't been doing much fishing for the past couple of years.
My back doesn't let me do much standing these days.
Hoping to keep my Grandson busy with the casting.
He hates to troll or we would be going for Walleye.

I hear you on the back issues, every year it gets worse for me too. There are folks fishing from shore, doing pretty good for the wipers right now, using bait but jigs might work too.
