Almost a skunking at UL today

Pat, Shane -- I enjoyed your "reminiscing" posts. Shane, as much as your memories of fishing with your Grandpa are special to you I'm willing to betcha they were even more special to your Grandpa. The fishing memories we all have of fishing with fathers and grandfathers never grow old. I think any of us who love to fish know how important it is to pass "the hook" on to younger generations. I consider fishing with my boat-load-of-kids to be almost a sacred obligation. I taught all of my kids to fish; then the grandkids, and last year I started on a crop of great-grandkids. (yikes!) I view it as a kind of senior insurance; as my expiration date gets closer every year, and my bones and muscles get weaker, I will be listening for the call... "Hello, Grandpa? Hey, you wanna ride out to Utah Lake and try for a catfish"? The cycle continues.

Looking forward to another great year... as soon as it warms up a bit.
