TubeDude use to make them, before he retired. They are floating jig heads that we drag near the bottom, we use 3/8 to 1/2 oz weights to keep them near the bottom and the Flig floats up from there. So for any fish that is close to the bottom they are ideal, depending on the length of the leader and the speed you are going, will dictate how far they float above the bottom. If we are after cats, we normally troll at .5 mph, for walleye or wipers we bump that speed up to .9 to 1.1 mph. There are many types, colors and styles of fligs, here are a few:
