Man I Love Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Saving Time = time to fish after work and easier to get up to hit first light, I can't wait until it's permanent.

I'm with you there, was totally ticked off when I heard they were trying to make standard time permanent in the state... My thoughts were they have people who don't have a life making these laws... They don't seem to understand how important it is to have a little freedom sometime in the day... when you can have daylight to go enjoy life...  At least I like my daylight hours for all of my many hobbies and activities and when the light is in the morning before work you don't have time to start anything before you have to go to work, so that just turns into sleep time and who needs sleep right?... Anyway I'm voting with you on that one... Later J

I don't mind saving time right now where it stays dark late in the am for getting up from a good night's rest for a fishing day. Only drawback is rush hour antics during the week. Late daylight hours are a miss for those return antics.

I tell you what, I am too much of a country bumkin... Went to Utah county Saturday for a family birthday party and I'm lucky to have escaped with my life... It takes me a second to figure out all of the turns and man I had several drivers about run over top of me when I didn't take off like a drag race.. I would not survive if I had to live down there, not sure I'd want to survive if I had to live in that zoo....  Sure makes me glad to get back home to Benson population around 600.... and that's getting too big for me... So I see your concerns with the traffic for sure... That's why I never want to fish a location that requires me to drive through there, I'll go the long way around Park City if I'm going to fish Strawberry rather than going through the zoo, so I feel sorry for those of you that have to try and tow a boat through the crazy rush hours, it's bad enough to drive a small car in that stuff... but maybe for now the time change will get most of the commute traffic over before you have to hit the road... Wishing you the best of luck with traffic...  Too bad Doge put all of us teleworkers back on the road and having to go into the office to work.... I know I preferred working from home... Later J

I used to live in Sacramento about 20mi from my job. Dayshift during early morning was easy putting me at work in 20min. Getting off in the PM was a different story, it started out in the early years to be a 30min travel time home. Driving a 5-speed manual shift wore out the clutch quicker. As time went by in years it grew to 1½hrs going home. Working swing shift hours was a breeze both directions. Here in Utah, I watched it grow too and seeing more antics. I don't miss the traffic.
