To get any bite at all, I had to down-size to some of the smallest jigs I have .. ei. 6 and 8's to a 10...white worked best, esp. with a little 'Wonderbread' pattern..2 poles, 1 with eyeball and other with cut belly meat..usually works very good, but perch mostly scattered today..
