This has been the bestest weekend I have seen in along time for Walleyes all over SE Michigan. Another tournament was held on the Detroit River this weekend.<br><br>Trout planted in streams are a little slow but will pick back up by next week and into the opening of the season.<br><br>Crappies are still in the canals and just at the mouth of canals on the drop off. (Use minnows 3-5 feet deep on the drop off)<br><br>Gills are in the canals on top of the water to about 12 inches below the surface. (Use a bubble and a popper for fast hookups)<br><br>dem hawgs is slowly coming up the drop offs (still deep 8-10 feet)<br><br>Perch are holding at 20-25 feet <br><br>Sheep heads (white fish) are hitting on the Detroit and St Clair connecter.<br><br>Still looking for them cats.<br><br>With this heat wave the salmon are expected to be at a strong run in the Augreys and Tawas areas for the next weekend.<br><br>If I missed any one favorite fishy let me know and I will check out the locals and report back on it fer ya.<br><br><A HREF="http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/MESS6438/" target="_new">http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/MESS6438/</A> <br>Lookie See what the kids are up to.<br>Dave T.
