The ice was about 5" everywhere and I felt perfectly safe, but I stayed relatively close to shore. I didn't personally see any snowmobiles or 4-wheelers but there were a couple of 'dogs growling around.
The older I get the more I would rather be considered a good man than a good fisherman.
