I have 5 Autumn Blaze trees in my backyard, 4 of them are mature. During the fall I'm busy in mulching leaves 2-3 times a week. The trees can never get into sync to drop all at once. I won't be eating these shrooms, not wanting them in the yard. If mulching leaves is causing this which I suspect, I will start bagging them. I have been mulching for a while before the garden went in.

Thinking this 1 tree is trying to tell me we
might be seeing an early winter
