I took a trip on jordanelle to search for kokanees on ice.
Seams like there are lots of people fishing in the same places. Just off the boat ramp in 12 to 15 fow. Looking for perch and trout. Lots of people not much catching of fish.
I went out towards the channel, in 75 feet deep water. 12 inches of hard ice.
Two others our here but not looking for kokes.
I had several schools pass through, some at 24 feet, some at 45 to 55 fow. Had my flasher and squids in the schools only caught one rainbow about 2 lbs. Not sure what was in the schools. Tried jigs and small pink and green tubes, dropping down to each school no takers.
Now I wish I was on bear Lake.
