Help needed

He's new to it, more than likely actually fish catching will be low to none at all. I think it is important where you can take a newbie, somewhere that is friendly to wading, casting, and to watch others. I've never fished Diamond but just by driving by it I suspect that other than the lower end there will be trees and bushes to deal with. Trees and bushes don't equal a good time for newbies. I think the Provo is a prime location for someone just starting out, the Weber is also a good choice. Not catching fish is something everyone can handle, even the best fishers don't catch fish, but put him in a situation where his fly is in the trees the whole and he'll never want to do it again.
