Never fished Diamond Fork so I'll let others comment on that. As for the Provo, it can be extremely cruel for some first timers. Most of those fish (especially on the Lower) have seen about every fly and presentation known to man. Of course there are days on the Provo that are magical; with great hatches that are easily matched. Days like that, however, seem to be the exception for me. If you don't mind a little longer drive, the Weber below Rockport seems to be producing nicely or you could head a little further south on Thistle Creek.
