The Wookie and I ran up to the BRBR this morning to see if the calm before the storm might produce a big cat for the contest.
It did not, but at least it was not a skunk that so often tags along when I run up there.
Ran my simple version of Carolina and Santee rigs with cut chub. Tried a couple normal spots along the road and only had a few nibbles. So I put on the hiking boots and went searching for a hole. Found one, but the minnow warriors must have been protecting big daddy as I got a couple at 20 inchers and one less but nothing bigger.
Did see John. It was good to see him and say hi. He looks like a cat whisperer when he is staring down the water.
I only measured one and no video for this run
