Had a similar experience yesterday. NO ONE on Pineview at 4pm. Only saw 1 other party allafternoon/evening...and the fishing was great! 7-8" of cloudy ice and 6-7" of clear ice below. Edges were decent and could hop across to solid ice. I'll be back there tomorrow...
