[cool] I did get out after checking two lakes crooked was good up to the shore Glass had open water to ice you would have needed waders to get out. Last monday there was 18" of ice on crooked now there is 12". The fishing is poor though I managed a few perch and only one strike on a tipup. I had a 4" bait on it so I took the gaff with me I never got to see it before it broke my hook off but the tug it gave me took my hand down the hole. I suspect it was a big pike, that would have helped my contest standings. Got to put some steel leaders on. I hpe I get to try again before the end of the contest.
