[#0000FF]Hey Trent, I was on Echo early yesterday morning and my experience was dismal too. I was fishing by a little after 8 but only stayed until about 11. Air temp early was 22 degrees and water temp was 49.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]I covered a lot of water...from just north of the ramp all the way to the dam...from 10 feet to over 60 feet. I was mainly on a perch search. Didn't find any schools and saw only a few singles or doubles on the bottom. Caught about a half dozen dinks but nothing of any size. Also caught one small smallie.

[#0000FF]I was seeing troutlike marks from 12 to 20 feet deep as I motored around looking for perch. So I dragged a spinner while I looked. Got quite a few whacks on the spinner but only had a couple hooked and brought one to the net...a healthy rainbow of about 15 inches. Gave him his early release for good behavior.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]Turnover. Typically the point at which lakes turn over is when the surface temperature reaches about 39 degrees. Not there at Echo yet...but it won't be long with the cooler nights forecast next week.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]It was good to share the water with you...even if it was at different times.
