Thanks, catching the whites is not hard, but you need to be there when they are. Mostly on clam mornings and before sun-up.
Thanks for your concern as well. The conditions weren't dangerous, mostly annoying and I felt silly because we should have already been back at the harbor. You definitely need to respect the lake when she gets riled up, but it wasn't that kind of wind we were in. It was that in between kind where you and the boat get pounded if you go to fast and if you go slow the wind blows the water into the boat every time you hit a wave.
I've learned a bit more about your drive, but not enough to continue yet, and I'm still focused on the cats for a bit longer.
