There are many waterproof pocket cameras on the market for very little money. Mine is an Olympus Stylus Touch, which is waterproof, dropproof, smashproof and darn near bombproof with its stainless steel case. Takes stills and vids above or below water. It is good enough that even though I bought it strictly as a fishing camera, I now use it for travel in place of my larger SLR.
