What a great story! Thanks for sharing. Did the second rod ever catch a fish?
I have a bell or two in my tackle but hardly ever use them. Last year I bought some of those glow stick things that attach to your rod for night fishing. It is really cool to see them dance whan a big fish hits, but no music. I may have to re-think that. In the boat I'm afraid the bell would ring with the rocking and drive me nuts, but I might still try it[
