I wanted to thank all of you for your advice and assistance with my Ketchikan trip. I had an amazing time. I brought home 40lbs of salmon and unfortunately only 5 lbs of halibut. I sure learned a lot while I was there though and seen some amazing sights. If anyone is going soon I could give you some extremely good pointers. I have never seen rivers that full of fish in my life. I didn’t know places like that still exist. I’ll try and post some pics. Oh one other bit of interesting info, while I was there they tied one of the wettest rainfall days on record at almost 5 inches of rain in one day. It was like standing in a waterfall.
