I used to think the Utah launch fees are bad. Not anymore since moving to Alaska. Last weekend I fished out of Whittier. It cost $22 to go through the tunnel with the boat, $10 to launch, $10 to retrieve, and $15 to park. Most of the time you have to go 15+ miles out to get to decent fishing grounds and the fuel adds up. If you get a good haul of fish then it’s worth the expense. Only got one silver for the effort but it was a nice 10lb 9oz fish so that was fun.
