Interesting... this year was a big water year, and I'm sure that was a good thing for all the fish in Strawberry.
I wondered as well if this year was a little bit down from the low water year two years ago.... as these fish are 2-4 yr fish...... I wondered if the lowered success this year for some was not because of weak reproduction a couple years back....
From your visit with DNR, it sounds like it's more of the abundance of food this year.....
