Richard, yesterday we saw the big (looks new) sign that describes what an "algae bloom" is, and under it was a smaller "diamond" shaped sign in red that said Lake Closed. But that red closed sign looks to be permanently attached the sign frame. So it would show that all the time, right? unless it had a middle hinge to close it, making it not show anything. I didn't look at it real close, and didn't think to take a photo of it.
