Roger, you and I have had similar backgrounds, as far as military and civilian service.
I sure was not making any derogatory comments about Utah.
Other than some of the drivers and boat operators [
][mad] here, this is one of the most polite states I've lived in (runs pretty close to Georgia and Tennessee)
I spent some time in Alabama also and drove truck thru the state from South Georgia to Birmingham. Have fished the Tallapoosa just above Montgomery, and the Chattahoochee (where it runs into Lake Seminole) so I agree with you on the fishing in Alabama.
I don't believe I could move back to the south east though. I have enjoyed the dryer climate here.
