Headed to Starvation this Weekend with a Kayak?

I am headed there with my family this weekend, we have a couple of Kayaks with no fish finders. We are staying at Lakeside and we have never been to Starvation before, well once but a long time ago. Anywho, where would be a good place to fish that is not too far from the bay?
