Finally got out of the house and off work so I dragged the kid away from the xbox and down to lincoln. I set the kid up with I nice shoreline spot while I put on the waders and worked the reeds and coves. The water is way high and boy have the fragmites grown since the last time I was down there. The cats weren't super active but with in a few, I started getting a couple hits and then boom, fish on. Nothing special just a nice cookie cutter, went back to where the boy was and he had a couple whities. I went back to the coves and could here fish thrashing in the frags but only got a couple misses. the water got really choppy around 5 pm so we put the fishing gear away and spent half an hour cleaning up trash.
